Alabama January 12th Tornado Disaster
On January 12, 2023, the State of Alabama was hit with severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes which adversely impacted Autauga, Barbour, Chambers, Conecuh, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Greene, Hale, Sumpter, and Tallapoosa counties.
The city of Selma received some of the heaviest destruction with homes damaged and destroyed, and trees uprooted from the direct impact of the reported EF-2 / EF-3 tornadoes.
Since the tornado events hit our neighbors, I Care Alabama is partnering with several organizations providing support and resources to help restore the families affected by this disaster.
